Sneaky sneaky

Paraic and Carla got rid of one of their own.  ‘I feel like a b***h,’ says Paraic.
Had to be done, says Carla. She agrees that he’s under suspicion.

No murder tonight, says Siobhan. Instead, three pairs will be up for ‘death row’.

So one murdered, one banished, and one reprieve. Sort of.

Back here tonight to find out who’s on the list, not Sean C’s.

Fionula is banished after a landslide vote

(And some people even spelled her name right.) She – finally – reveals she is a Traitor. God, that was a long preamble.

They have Fionula in their sights.

Poor Aoife. Part II. And Fionula goes for Sam

Girl can’t catch a break.

And now Fionula is going for Sam. Something about people coming out of coffins. Very confusing. The hands are going again. Going under Today 09:09 PMRegina Lavelle

Nearly thirteen grand in the prize pot

More scones and muffins

The carb quotient is high, no? Maybe they have lunch without the cameras? Seems a lot of baked goods.

In other news…
Fionula is crying, that’s a decent cry on demand. That’ll be acting training I suppose.
‘Who made you the lord and master,’ she asks Denis, sitting beside partner Diego.

We’ll see if her play was successful in the round table…

To catch a sheep. (Not sheeps. Just sheep)

And there’s more hay. Loving the hay this year. They have to identify sheep from a picture. This is actually quite hard. They’re all wearing peaked caps, the contestants, not the sheep.

Carla: ‘I haven’t a clue. I ain’t a farmer. It’s just not something I’d be into. No offence’.

Team Blue have a win!

Team Red have a win!

And now – sheep catching to win immunity. I’m Team Sheep frankly.

David gets the shield.

‘Terrified of Getting Laura’d’

They killed … Saoirse!

Saoirse was their ‘soft’ death. “Like ew,” as she says herself. Today 08:37 PMRegina Lavelle

Survivors

Kayleigh is delighted she made the night. Pete is worried about Saoirse, Ian and Sam.
‘Donal is still really in my sights’, says Denis.

And Pauric O is joining in on the conspiring about Donal. (Poor Donal, part XVI.)

DJ is stroking his chin about his Sam suspicions.

Fionula is waving her hands extravagantly. Today 08:32 PMRegina Lavelle

Unhappy meal

They’re giving breakfast a bad name. Maybe the food’s more of a ceremonial thing… Unhappy meal, breakfast time Today 08:30 PMRegina Lavelle

Of course you might be tuning in for Siobhan’s clothes. Maybe it could be a segment on Uncloaked?

Making shovels look chic. They’re be a run on them at the garden centre now. Wait until you see. Pink and red. Laura would be proudMaroon-ed…

But the numbers are up, apparently

RTE says that the eyeballs are racking up for this year’s contestants, noting that the first three episodes of series 2 were watched by an ‘average audience of 756,000’ across the platforms, compared to 591,000 for series 1.

They point out that those numbers are correct as of Friday.

The difficult second album?

Initial reviews were pretty mixed for season two after the stonking success of season one. There was lamentation for the absence of Paudie, or a Paudie. Still, it’s early days.

This is what Independent.ie had to say about the new season…

‘The Traitors Ireland’ is lacking the sparkle of last year – why does the winning formula feel like it’s gone flat?Dull contestants and boring challenges are adding up to an inferior second seasonwww.independent.ieLoad moreTickarooLive Blog Software
