THE family of a man who was stabbed to death after a car crash have paid tribute to their “wonderful son”.
Jamie Evans, 20, was attacked on Friday afternoon after his red Ford Fiesta collided with a grey Audi in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Passersby tried to help Jamie and paramedics urgently rushed him to the hospital.
However, despite the best efforts of medical teams, Jamie tragically died of his injuries.
Jamie’s family, who are being supported by specialist officers, have paid tribute to their wonderful son.
They said: “Jamie was so passionate about cricket and fitness, enjoying every opportunity to be active, challenge himself and spend time doing the things he loved. These passions reflected his determination, energy and zest for life.

“Although his life was far too short, the love he gave, the laughter he shared and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

An investigation was quickly launched and two men, aged 22 and 20, have since been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The suspects, both from the local area, remain in custody, Staffordshire Police confirmed.
