MANCHESTER UNITED’S stars want talisman Bruno Fernandes to be given a bumper new contract.
The Old Trafford skipper, 31, has less than 12 months left on his deal but the club have the option of another year.

And Fernandes’ team-mates believe the playmaker is vital if United are going to see trophies return on a regular basis.
A source said: “The players know Bruno is absolutely vital if they want to have success.
“They all want him to sign a new deal and think execs should make him feel loved and give him a contract which reflects how important he is.
“He should be the top earner because he is the most important player in the dressing room.”
