HUGE plans to build the UK’s second-tallest residential building is set to be approved.
The £2billion project will see a major development of seven new buildings, with one 69 storeys high.
The impressive new project will be located in South London‘s Vauxhall Square and the mammoth build will bring the UK’s second-tallest residential building to the area.
The UK’s current highest is located in Canary Wharf, which has a 75-storey residential tower block.
The development, planned by Applicant Vauxhall Square Limited, will also deliver over 1,000 flats.
The proposals also outline 1,164 co-living units and student accommodation for 699 residents.

While Lambeth Council’s Planning Applications Committee must approve the plans, it’s been recommended that they give the development the green light when they meet on September 8.
The swanky set of buildings will also be home to a hotel, a cinema and office spaces.
Plans also state that there will be community spaces as well as retail units and parking for cars and bikes.
A gym with a swimming pool is also set to be approved for the development.
