FORMER Premier League striker Peter Odemwingie is considering legal action against Sky Sports, West Bromwich Albion, and Queens Park Rangers.
The 45-year-old ex-Nigeria star has argued that there is more to his infamous failed deadline day transfer in 2013 than has been portrayed.
Odemwingie was bizarrely interviewed through his car window outside Loftus Road as he believed a deal had been reached to join QPR.
But the deal fell through as the Hoops and West Brom were unable to reach a transfer fee agreement before the 11pm deadline.
The forward then faced disciplinary action from the Baggies as is actions were deemed unacceptable by then-chairman Jeremy Peace.
Odemwingie has explained on social media that he is seeking legal advice after his interview was once again shared on Sky Sports News before of Tuesday’s transfer deadline.

Former West Brom, Cardiff, and Stoke star Odemwingie detailed his own perspective in an Instagram video, with a lengthy caption adding further detail.
He wrote: “Sky Sports agents and employees of both clubs, West Brom and QPR, definitely have questions to answer and I will be seeing a lawyer next week to make it official.
“From simply a human side of it @SkySportsFootball, what is the motive/intention to show this episode on and on for so many years? The least will be lack or absence of respect in my opinion.”
Odemwingie also hit out at QPR for auctioning the jersey that had been prepared for his arrival last year.

The ex-striker hit out at Sky Sports for “milking” the interview as he noted the complexities involved in a swap deal, with Junior Hoilett, now 36, poised to join the Baggies.
He claimed that his agent, Barry McIntosh, had worked with Sky Sports to force the move, with Odemwingie asked to feature in an interview with the network during his journey to Loftus Road.
But this idea was supposedly rejected by the forward as “childish,” with Odemwingie instead opting to wait for an answer from QPR themselves.
Odemwingie added: “Barry McIntosh told me it was all sorted. His car was in front of mine and we were driving. I don’t even know where we were going, whether to the training ground or to the stadium.”
He explained that he had simply stepped off the bus and into the changing rooms during previous visits to Loftus Road.
The striker remained at West Brom for the remainder of the 2012-13 season as they finished eighth in the Premier League.
A deal was then agreed for Odemwingie to join Cardiff in September 2013, before a move to Stoke one year later.
Odemwingie remained in England with Championship sides Bristol City and Rotherham, with one final move to Indonesian side Madura United in 2017 before his retirement.
