FORMER Liverpool star Jordon Ibe has avoided jail after he pulled a braid out of his ex-girlfriend’s head during a “distressing” row.
The winger, 30, left Amie Mayson with a bald patch after attacking her in Lambeth, South London, in December.

Amie had confronted Ibe, who also played for Bournemouth, and demanded he repaid her money she said he owed her.
But the footballer told her: “No, I’m going to be a prick.”
She then threw muffins he had bought on the floor and called Ibe a “druggy” before he grabbed her by her hair.
The footballer, who made 41 appearances for Liverpool, has now been handed a 12-month community order after he admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He was also ordered to complete 80 hours of unpaid work and 27 days of rehabilitation activity.
Ibe was further handed a £764 fine, including £114 of surcharge and £650 in court costs.

The footballer, who represented himself at the hearing, told the court: “I made a serious mistake.”
He added: “I understand it is wrong. I am genuinely remorseful. I’ve had to look at myself in the mirror. I cannot change what I did but will take responsibility for what I do next.”

In a victim impact statement, Amie previously said the attack deeply affected her confidence, self-esteem and self-worth.
“Looking in the mirror is very distressing for me, the injury is a constant reminder of what happened and often leaves me feeling emotionally drained and upset,” she added.
Former England under-21 star Ibe played for Liverpool before spells at Derby County and Birmingham City.
He also appeared 92 times for Bournemouth between 2016 and 2020.
Ibe signed for Lokomotiv Sofia in the Bulgarian First League, the highest in the Balkan country, in November 2025.
But his two-year contract was terminated just seven months in on June 18 this year.
