FORMER Manchester United striker Anthony Martial has been offered to Everton two years after leaving England.
According to talkSPORT, Martial, now a free agent, has been offered to David Moyes‘ side after a ninth-month stint with Monterrey in Mexico.
Everton had a disastrous transfer window, and currently only have one recognised striker in the squad in Thierno Barry.
The Toffees wanted to sign Folarin Balogun from Monaco but the deal fell through on deadline day due to issues with his medical.
Barry started 21 league games last season, netting eight goals, but Everton will need more options if they are to have a successful campaign.
Martial scored 90 goals in 317 appearances for United across nine years at the club.

Once touted as one of the hottest young prospects in football capable of winning the Ballon d’Or, Martial’s career has ultimately disappointed.
But still only 30, and thought to be open to a return to the Premier League, he could yet write a new chapter in Merseyside.
Everton not only just have one striker, but only two full-backs at the club.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Vitaliy Mykolenko are their only options, and the Toffees will have a sparse squad until January.

The club also sold their best player from last season, Iliman Ndiaye, to Manchester City for £65m and did not sign a suitable replacement.
Fans are now fearing the worst this season, with one writing on X: “Balogun was the only glimmer of light in a horrific transfer window. With that gone, Everton are nailed on for a relegation fight.”
As Martial is a free agent Everton can take their time before deciding whether or not to sign him.
But he only scored once in 20 games for Monterrey, and seems unlikely to be the answer to their problems.
