A business that has been operating in Wexford for nearly 50 years is entering a new chapter with a fresh rebrand.

FRS Solutions Group, a farmer-owned cooperative focused on addressing practical agricultural challenges and supporting the farming community, has been operating since 1977, with previous bases of operations in Kerlogue.

Now, the group has moved its primary hub to a newly developed office building in Enniscorthy where it has rebranded as Feirm Co-op.

As part of this rebrand, they are bringing together its Farm Solutions, Buyrite Solutions and Magenta Direct businesses under the Feirm brand. As such, Farm Solutions will now be called Feirm People, and Buyrite Solutions and Magenta Direct will now be called Feirm Supplies.

Feirm People is intended to provide recruitment services and workforce management, and Feirm Supplies will offer members and non-members a range of farm inputs and solutions.

Nigel Whyte, the appointed chief executive since 2024, explained that this rebrand represents their vision for the future while honouring their history.

“Our cooperative was founded by farmers to solve practical challenges and that purpose remains just as relevant today. As farming has changed, we’ve continued to grow and adapt while staying true to the values that have guided our cooperative from the beginning,” he said.

“Whether it’s finding the right people, supplying inputs at the best possible value or providing practical support, we’re here to help farmers tackle the everyday challenges of modern farming and prepare for what’s ahead.”

Chair of Feirm Co-op Declan McDonald added that they are dedicated to continued investment in the groups future.

“The Feirm name signals the next chapter for our cooperative, but the principles that underpin it remain the same. We’re continuing to invest in the solutions that matter most to Irish farmers, helping make farming life simpler, fairer, and more profitable.”
