SCRIPTS for the second series of the new Harry Potter TV show are unfinished and yet to be signed off, delaying major scenes being shot.
Filming for Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets has officially started — but Warner Bros sources yesterday confirmed weeks of production delays.

Work that was meant to begin last month has been pushed back until October and insiders told how bosses binned initial scripts because they want the plot and characterisations to be perfect.
Warner Bros executives hit out internally at the delay, which sparked chaos among some irate crew and cast members.
Production crew are not being paid during rewrites, and many workers are struggling to be available for the new schedule due to other work commitments.
A source told The Sun: “Filming for series two was meant to start in August.

“Many staff are stood down from next week.”
Our source went on: “The scripts haven’t been signed off, prompting the delay.
“We’ve been told that a number of scenes need tweaking because they are not quite right.
“The powers-that-be want everything perfect.”
Series one, starring Dominic McLaughlin as Harry, will premiere on HBO Max on Christmas Day.
Its eight weekly episodes adapt JK Rowling’s first novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
