EASTENDERS star Brian Conley revealed the very awkward moment he asked Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman for a “foursome”.
The actor, 65, was starring in the hit musical Jolson back in 1995 when A-listers Tom, 64, and Nicole, 59, attended one of the shows in London.

Brian recalled the time his company manager told him that the Hollywood couple wanted to meet him backstage.
But after a series of mishaps, including getting his bum out and making inappropriate fertility comments, Brian joked that Tom was quick to escape.
Appearing on Russell Howard’s Five Brilliant Things podcast this week, Brian made the cheeky confession.
He shared: “Tom Cruise came to see me once at a show, which is a long story and very embarrassing.

“He was filming Eyes Wide Shut, so Nicole Kidman was here and my wife had rung ‘Is Tom Cruise in?’”
Brian told his wife Anne-Marie that it was just Nicole Kidman, to which she she said: “‘If Tom’s in, tell me.”
The TV star then found out that both stars would be in the house that night and immediately called back his wife to update her.
His wife then arrived at the venue and told her that Tom wanted to meet him backstage after the show, but it didn’t go as planned.

Brian said: “Eventually he comes over and he is sort of over the moon with it.
“So now we are talking with Nicole and my wife was pregnant with Amy and we’re chatting and I said ‘it’s unbelievable, we decided we want to have kids and bang we’re having a kid, I’m not firing blanks’, I didn’t know he’s adopted all his children, I didn’t know this. So this is my first really big faux pas.”
Brian then randomly got his bum out and showed Tom his tattoo that says ‘no entry’.
Having seemingly already offended the Mission Impossible star, Brian added: “So now I’ve done this and that’s sort of put him off and he’s just about to leave and I said ‘Tom, before you go listen if you fancy a foursome, I know my wife’s up for it and he went ‘yeah’ and off he went.
“In the space of about three minutes, I have absolutely completely f***ed it with Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.”
Brian, who played Tom ‘Rocky’ Cotton on the BBC soap, recently starred alongside his daughter Lucy on Channel 4‘s Celebrity Hunted.
The pair made it all the way to the ended as joint champions with Amy Dowden and Carlos Gu.
Brian’s career spans over 40 years as a comedian, West End star, actor and presenter.
EastEnders fans were stunned when his character was axed in 2025 and was sent to prison.
The Sun revealed at the time that Brian quit after bosses barred the cast from appearing in lucrative pantomime roles this year.
