From Pistachio Milk to Cherry Blossom, Lindt is known for experimenting with fun new flavours on its classic Lindor chocolates.

The truffles were first invented in 1949, but before they were the melt-in-your-mouth spheres we know and love today, they were sold in hard, tablet form.

With humble roots in Switzerland, these days, Lindor are sold in more than 100 countries and have pretty much become synonymous with Christmas.

And now, eagle-eyed fans have spotted a new variation in stores, based on a classic baked treat: the Cinnamon Roll.

Lindt describes it as a seasonal flavour, comprised of biscuit pieces in a smooth milk shell, plus a milk filling with natural cinnamon.

It’s absolutely perfect for this time of year, considering how prevalent cinnamon is in autumn/winter favourites like the pumpkin spiced latte or mulled wine.

But if you’re expecting to find these treats on supermarket shelves, we have some bad news: Lindor’s Cinnamon Roll is available exclusively through the Pick & Mix bar in Lindt stores and online, priced from £4.99 per 100g.

You’ll need to be quick, too, as the flavour will only be available on a limited-edition basis, while stocks last.

Posting on Instagram, @greedysisterz_review_snacks revealed they’d spotted the new Lindor in Manchester’s Arndale Centre, with @whitesnowlight describing the flavour as as ‘so good’ and @plant.vs.proteinsisters adding: ‘I know what I want for my birthday.’

Over on TikTok, gluten-free food reviewer Knight said the Cinammon Roll variety had ‘piqued’ her interest on a recent browse of one of Lindt’s 30 UK locations.

After a lengthy investigation with the staff (the product was so new they had to do a bit of digging), they confirmed it’s safely free of wheat and barley, which she described as ‘phenomenal.’

‘I’ve not been able to have Lindt milk chocolate in so long, because it all has barley in,’ she said.

‘The cream inside has a proper creamy cinnamon roll icing flavour…and then it’s got bits of hazelnut. It’s got a bit of a crunch.’

This isn’t the first cinnamon flavour Lindt has experimented with. Back in 2024, fans were treated to the Cinnamon Swirl Lindt flavour, which came in the same light blue packaging, and was also limited edition.

However, Lindt has told Metro this particular combination is completely new.

Elsewhere in the world of chocolate, Asda has officially relaunched Puffin bars – its own-brand biscuit that first hit stores 30 years ago. Individually wrapped, each bar features a biscuit centre coated in chocolate.

For just £1, customers can bag eight Puffin bars – not a bad deal.

Continuing along the theme of nostalgia, M&S recently reintroduced four retro chocolate bars to its shelves: Jet, Now, Sparks and Coconut Grove.

First sold as part of M&S’ 80s confectionery range, they’ll be a welcome return for those who remember snacking on them the first time around.

The bars, which are priced at just £1 each, feature the St Michael logo — a brand owned and used by M&S between 1927 and 2000.
